After spending the weekend with a couple friends in Fayetteville, we found ourselves following the storms all the way home to Batesville.  While riding with Brandon near Conway I started trying to catch a shot of the awesome lightning we were seeing with my iPhone.  It took about 200 pictures to catch anything. Even then it only caught a small section of the bolt.  Trying to get the timing down was next to impossible. It was basically just luck with the slowness of the camera.

I took this early in the day and we have since gotten quite a bit more snow. It was nice to see this morning, but the lack of electricity was a little frustrating. Apparently someone met a power poll head on at the edge of our neighborhood.

What a great way to start December!
